Casinos want government to rethink its approach

Discussions between the Trinidad and Tobago Members Clubs Association and the union of members clubs and lottery workers are expected to start soon as there are threats of immediate laying off of workers in the gaming industry.

Today the members association held an emergency meeting due to the tax imposed on the industry in last evenings budget.

The affected workers union president wants the government to rethink its approach as nine thousand workers will be on the breadline.
