Court rules against CJ

The court of appeal today ruled against the chief justice saying the law association is within its right to investigate allegations regarding his conduct.

When the matter came up at the appeal court, three of Archie's colleagues disagreed with a high court judge's assertion that the Law Association's action was unlawful, unconstitutional and therefore null and void.

The chief justice in the meantime intends to seek further redress at the privy council.
