Warning for Plipdeco as chemical waste left behind by ArcelorMittal

The parliament has appealed to Plipdeco to test the health of its workers and all those working in close proximity to the defunct Arcelor Mittal plant.

This after it was found that the plant left behind tonnes of chemical waste.

Today members of a public accounts committee pointed to the dangers associated with slag piles and called on Plipdeco to preserve the health of its employees.
