Bravo: "No TKR for me this season"

Captain of the Trinbago Knight Riders and three-time Caribbean Premier League winner, Dwayne Bravo, has announced that he will not be playing with the Trinbago Knight Riders this season.

Bravo made the announcement via his Instagram account on Tuesday, one day before the CPL draft takes place in London on Wednesday.

He wrote: "No TKR for me this season guys sorry but I have "de nuff" of the cussing. I need to enjoy my time now good luck TKR fans."

His message came under a video post also on Instagram, in which he raised questions about where he would play.

"This is the Champion DJ Bravo. The CPL draft is about to take place in London on the 22nd, which is this Wednesday. So let's see where the champion will end up this season. So the biggest party in sport is about to go down so lock in and let's see....the three-time champion...let's see where he will be."

His post has been met with shock by many online, with some suggesting that he will play with Chris Gayle's Jamaica Tallawahs instead.

Bravo led the TKR to victory last year when they defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Brian Lara Training Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad.

They also won in 2017 and 2015.
