The Central Bank says it will be open to the public again this weekend—from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.—on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 December, to facilitate the transfer of cotton based $100 bills for the new polymer notes.
In an official statement, the Bank reminds the public it will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day… but will be open again on Friday 27 December, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
For Tobago… the Central Bank says it will facilitate the notes exchange at the Unit Trust Corporation in Scarborough, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday 28, Sunday 29, and Monday 30 December.
Citizens are reminded that they must walk with the necessary documentation.
Individuals must have valid identification, proof of address and evidence of the source of funds; while companies need to present their registration documents.
