Labourer's home shot up by gunmen

A labourer of Caroni is said to be scared for his life after a gun attack at his home in Caroni shortly after midnight on Monday.
According to a police report, the 50-year-old man was asleep at his home at Allen Trace in Kelly Village when at about 12.30 am on Tuesday he was awakened by a spate of gunshots.
The man immediately got on the floor of the bedroom and waited until the gunshots ceased.
After a few minutes, he walked outside and saw that the walls of his house bore several bullet holes.
The man contacted the police and said that his life is under threat but added that he did not know why.
Acting Cpl Bachus of the Caroni Police Station is investigating.
