It says "Severe weather is likely on Sunday 20th May 2018 which may result in flash flooding and gusty winds. This event is due to convergence associated with a 700mb (low-level) trough (rain producing, low-pressure feature)."

The warning covers the period 5 am to 7 pm.

The Met Office says peak rainfall activity and possible thundershower activity is likely.

It is reminding the nation that the country is in a transition period from the dry to rainy seasons.
