The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service is advising citizens to be vigilant and cautious as heavy rains and possible flash-flooding may occur throughout Trinidad within the next few hours.
The Met Office says that cloudy conditions and periods of heavy rain and showers are the results of an Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone.
The bulletin added that the rainy weather conditions are expected to continue for at least the next four to six hours.
However, it says a decrease in frequency and intensity of showers are expected toward nightfall.
The Met Office added that at this time Trinidad and Tobago is not under any tropical storm threat, watch or warning.
