Police call for relatives of "Beatle"

The body that was found in Arouca on Monday is said to be a man identified only as "Beatle".

Relatives are being asked to come forward and claim his body, which is said to be at the Forensic Science Centre in St James.

According to a police report, at about 7 pm on Monday, residents of Lopinot Road in an area known as Soap Hill heard multiple gunshots ring out.

Upon checking, they found Beatle’s body lying near a drain just off the roadway.

The man was described as being of African descent, six feet tall, slim built and bald. Beatle reportedly was clad in a grey jersey and a pair of black pants.

Police said he was shot multiple times about the body.
