Revolver, shotgun found hidden in Sam Boucaud, Santa Cruz

A revolver and a shotgun were discovered by officers of the Santa Cruz Police Station during an anti-crime exercise in the district yesterday, police said in a media statement.

The exercise, spearheaded by Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Surrendra Sagramsingh, supervised by ASP (Ag.) Michael Sooker, and including officers of the Coastal Patrol Unit and Santa Cruz Charge Room, was conducted between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Monday.

Acting on information, officers proceeded to a bushy area at Moraldo Trace, Sam Boucaud, where they found the revolver and shotgun along with one round of 12 gauge cartridge, hidden under some debris.

No one was arrested in connection with the find.
