Rough seas are being reported around the country’s coastlines.

In a bulletin issued today, the Met Office said rough seas will affect coastlines around Trinidad and Tobago for the next three to four days and citizens are urged to exercise caution if conducting sea-related activities.

Sea conditions being experienced around Trinidad and Tobago are currently moderate to rough, with wave heights reaching 2.5 to 3 metres in open waters and up to 1 metre in sheltered areas.

Persons are advised to take the necessary precautions.
