A Corporal attached to the Trinidad and Tobago Regiment is currently in police custody for possession of ammunition after he was arrested by officers of the Morvant Police Station.

Officers of the Morvant Police Station were responding to a report of a domestic disturbance at a house along Pelican Extension Road, Morvant, around 4:05 pm, on Thursday 17th May, 2018, when they had cause to arrest the soldier.

While at the scene of the dispute, officers received information which led them to conduct a search of the laundry room of the house.
