The T&T Spirit will be out of service for all of June, as the vessel goes on drydock.
The following is a statement from the Inter-Island Transportation Company.
"Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Transportation Co. Ltd wishes to advise that the passenger ferry, the T&T Spirit, will be taken out of service from 2016 June 01 to 30 to undergo its planned annual maintenance programme at Caribbean Dockyard, Chaguaramas.
Additionally, heightened focus will be placed on house-keeping as the existing seats will be replaced and the carpeted areas will be refurbished. The vessel’s cleaning programme will also be upgraded to ensure that all areas of the vessel will be kept clean and sanitized throughout the voyage.
All works are estimated to be completed within 30 days, and the vessel is expected to resume operations no later than 2015 July 01. During the period of the dry-docking double sailings will be scheduled on the T& T Express on Mondays and Fridays, as follows:
