WASA hoping to fix St James water problem by noon

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in St. James and environs who are still without a water supply that this is due to ongoing repairs to the ruptured 21-inch transmission main along Serpentine Road, St. Clair, Port of Spain, which has been unavoidably delayed.

WASA says its crews are working to complete the repair works with completion schedules for 12 noon today.

Areas that continue to be affected include:

· St. James

· Long Circular and environs

Customers are further advised that it may take between 4 to 8 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas after the supply is restored.
