The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of Diego Martin and Petit Valley served by the Four Roads Pumping Station that there will be a disruption in their pipeborne water supply on Tuesday October 16, 2018 between the hours of 9:30 am and 5 pm.
WASA says this has become necessary in order to facilitate interconnection works at the Four Roads Pumping Station.
The affected areas will include:
Diego Martin: Diego Martin Main Road from Four Roads to Sardonyx Drive including La Puerta Avenue, Manning Street, Crystal Stream, La Estancia, Mary Avenue, Anne Avenue, Eligon Avenue, Rich Plain Road and environs
Petit Valley: Morne Coco Road from Four Roads to Glen Drive including Alyce Glen and Simeon Road
Bayshore: Morne Coco Road from Four Roads to Sunset Drive including Goodwood Park
Customers are being advised that following the resumption of operations, it may take up to 8 hours for the scheduled pipe-borne service to normalize to some affected areas.
WASA says a limited truck borne water service will be available with priority given to schools, medical institutions and homes for the aged.
