Twelve days after a murder occurred at Harding Place in Cocorite, another man was gunned down on Tuesday morning in the same spot.
According to a police report, Brian Taitt was at a parlour at about 3 am, when he was approached by a gunman who shot and killed him.
The gunman then escaped.
A motive is yet to be established in that killing.
Cecil Skeete—the man who accused top cop Gary Griffith of choking, punching, and putting a gun to his head—has been shot dead.
Sources say the 50-year-old was shot several times last night near his Freedom Street, Cocorite home.
It is alleged he was part of the "Rasta City" Gang.
Over the years, Skeete reportedly had a number of run-ins with the law for possession of firearms and ammunition and other offences.
Guardian Media understands he was out on bail on charges of arms and ammunition possession dating to 2017.
The country's murder count continues to climb. this after a 28-year-old Cocorite man was shot and killed by men dressed as Police Officers.
Police say around three this morning Curtis Franklyn, of Ratchet Hill, Waterhole, was asleep at his home when two men dressed in camouflage gear claiming to be Police Officers entered his home. Franklyn tried to escape through a rear door but was shot several times. Officers from the St James Police Station responded and found Franklyn lying on the ground outside. He was taken to hospital where he died.
A 28-year old man killed in Cocorite had been identified as Kzyz James.
He was killed following a drive-by shooting at Water Hole near his fruit stall.
Residents said that around 11 am a White AD wagon was seen in the area.
Occupants in the car opened fire upon James.
He was attempted to flee the gunfire, but was eventually felled by the bullets.
He died on the scene.
His relatives believe he was targeted due to gang violence between Rasta City and the Muslim gangs.
James was a Muslim.

Police are investigating a murder in Cocorite that occurred just before noon today.
The murder took place at Lady Hochoy Circular Road, Cocorite.
The man was shot multiple times about the body, near the Cocorite Primary School.

27-year-old Nester Sammy, aka “Pappy of Harding Place, Cocorite, appeared in the Port of Spain 8th Magistrates’ Court, today, to answer to the charge.
The matter was adjourned to Friday 14th September 2018.
23-year-old Williams also of Harding Place, Cocorite, was found dead with bullet wounds about the body in the vicinity of the Harding Place recreation ground.
One man is dead, and another wounded after being shot at while doing repairs in Cocorite.
Around midday on Tuesday, three Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) workers were dispatched to conduct repairs on a trench in Powder Magazine, Cocorite.
One of the workers left the scene to retrieve a part needed for the repairs from another site.
While the other two men continued repairs, gunmen walked toward the hole and started shooting at them.
One of the workers, Nejie Jaja, from Bournes Road, St James was pronounced dead at the St James Health facility.
Police are investigating the murder of a man in Cocorite. The murder took place at midday on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Dominic Gregoire from Pitilal Road, Waterhole.
Gregoire, David Mathews and another man were at a construction site at Freedom Street, Cocorite, when they were attacked.
Gregoire was shot.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
