The Movement of Social Justice (MSJ) is not ruling out that the break-in at their San Fernando headquarters on Sunday was orchestrated by their political opponents.
The incident comes on the heels of claims by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley that on two occasions before the 2015 general election contract killers were offered the job to kill him but they both refused. Rowley also claimed that recent threats were made to kill Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi.
Political Leader of the MSJ—David Abdullah—is refuting claims by Opposition MP Dr Roodal Moonilal, of conspiracy and corruption in the OWTU’s bid for the Petrotrin Refinery.
The MSJ leader says he will be consulting his attorneys and exploring all his legal options in the matter.
The Movement for Social Justice (MSJ) political leader David Abdulah has lamented that 90 per cent of workers have not had a wage or salary increase in the last six years, even while the Parliament debated pension increases for retired judges, MPs, prime ministers and presidents.
He said this was one of the many issues the working class faces under an inequitable economic system that the PNM and UNC have subjected the country to, as he called on thousands to participate in today’s Labour Day celebrations.
