Officers attached to the Central Division Special Crime Unit seized a loaded revolver during an anti-crime exercise in Enterprise.
According to police reports during the exercise, a party of officers led by Sgt. Allan Jodhan proceeded to Williams Street, Enterprise, around 5:00 pm on August 16th and conducted a search of a bushy area.
The search resulted in officers discovering one .38 Special revolver loaded with two rounds of ammunition, wrapped in plastic and hidden under a sheet of galvanise.
Investigations are continuing.
A revolver and a quantity of assorted ammunition are discovered by officers of the Marabella Police Station, during an anti-crime exercise.
According to police reports, during the exercise, which was conducted on 7th August officers proceeded to an empty lot of land at Bayshore, Marabella, where they conducted a search of the area.
The search resulted in the revolver, five rounds of 9mm ammunition, six rounds of 7.62 ammunition and 19 rounds of 5.56 ammunition being discovered inside a crocus bag which was hidden under some pieces of galvanize.
A 25-year-old man from Beetham Gardens has been detained and a pistol and a quantity of marijuana seized by police following an anti-crime exercise.
WPC Malaika Ramgoolie and officers attached to the Port of Spain Division Task Force conducted the exercise on August 7th in the Sea Lots area.
According to police reports, during the exercise, officers proceeded to Pioneer Drive, where they had cause to stop and search a 25-year-old man of Beetham Gardens.

Officers of the Central Division Task Force Cunupia district led by Sgt. Glen Persad, conducted the exercise around 9:00 pm, on Wednesday 1st August 2018, during which they executed a search warrant at the Jonathan Trace, Cunupia home of a 24-year-old man.
Akeel Ramadeen,18, of Maraldo Trace, Santa Cruz, is expected to appear before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate today charged with common assault and possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Ramadeen was arrested during an anti-crime exercise in the Santa Cruz district, on July 27th, 2018.
According to police reports while on mobile patrol along Moraldo Trace, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force (NEDTF), observed a group of men liming.
Upon seeing the officers, the men ran off and a chase ensued.
Kareem Thomas, 24, of Sangre Grande is expected to appear before a Sangre Grande Magistrate today charged with the possession of a firearm and ammunition.
According to police reports Thomas was arrested by officers who were on mobile patrol along Walke Street, Sangre Grande, around 11:35 am, on Monday 18th June 2018.
Officers had cause to stop and search Thomas after they observed him acting suspiciously.
The search resulted in one Ruger 357 Magnum revolver, loaded with six rounds of .38mm ammunition being discovered in his possession.

Mr Mckenzie, a fisherman, of Rampanalgas Village, Balandra, also faces charges of malicious damage, possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of firearm and ammunition to endanger life, as well as three counts of wounding with intent.
He was arrested during a joint exercise between officers of the Toco and Sangre Grande Police Stations, on Wednesday 30th May 2018.
