Anand’s housekeeper’s son admits to ganja charges

The son of a house­keep­er who works for for­mer at­tor­ney gen­er­al Anand Ram­lo­gan on Thursday plead­ed guilty to charges of mar­i­jua­na cul­ti­va­tion and pos­ses­sion of the il­le­gal herb.

Kevin Rag­bir, 37, was ar­rest­ed dur­ing a po­lice raid at his home at Philip­pine, San Fer­nan­do on Wednes­day.

Rag­bir, a gar­den­er and elec­tri­cian, ap­peared in the San Fer­nan­do Mag­is­trates Court.

Pros­e­cu­tor Cley­on Seedan said around 7.10 am on Wednes­day the po­lice went to his home with a war­rant to search for arms and am­mu­ni­tion.
