Three shot dead in Debe, another hospitalised

Three men are dead following a shooting at a bar in Wellington, Debe.

Reports indicate gunmen drove up to the bar, walked in and began shooting. 

Four men were shot.

Two died at the scene identified as Terry Edwards, 34 & Kevin Fuller, 31.

Two were taken to the hospital.

Sanjay Mahabir was shot in the head and succumbed to his injury.

The fourth man remains hospitalised with a gunshot to his shoulder.

Two men murdered in South Trinidad

Two men have been murdered in separate incidents in South Trinidad.

In the first incident, residents of Palmiste heard several loud explosions this morning.

The police were called in and upon investigating they discovered the body of a man bleeding from several gunshot wounds.

The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Samuel Rampersad.

Bloody Thursday: Seven gunned down in one day

Four more murders Thursday night have made January 19th the bloodiest day the country has recorded for the year so far, with no fewer than seven killings.

Two men were shot dead in a vehicle in Carapo around 7pm, one man was shot dead at Savary Street in St Joseph and another man was shot dead in Plymouth, Tobago.

Those four, together with a murder of 48-year-old Anthony Roberts in Arima this morning and the murders of Kurlan "Miceman" George and Shameel Ali in St Joseph around 3pm, take the toll to seven.

Three murders overnight

A couple has been shot dead in Guapo.

Reports indicate that around 12:15 am, several explosions were heard at Falcon Crescent, Lime Field Road, Guapo.

Upon investigation, the bullet- riddled body of 29-year-old Luenda Anthony, a security officer employed with Amalgamated Security was discovered lying dead in her bed.

A male associate was also shot about the body. He was rushed to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

In a separate incident, a man identified as Floyd Williams Junior of Calvary Hill, Arouca was gunned down.

Three murdered Monday evening

Three murders on Monday evening are now attracting the attention of police officers.

The murders occurred in Laventille, Enterprise and Five Rivers.

At 5pm Monday, a Dass Trace, Enterprise man known as "Congo", was shot multiple times in his head and about his body by three men who alighted from a car.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

In Five Rivers, a man who goes by the name "Flash Dollarz" was shot multiple times by men who came looking for him dressed as police officers.
