NCRHA head: Venezuelans can give blood too

Chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the North Cen­tral Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ty (NCRHA) Dalvin Thomas has said that Venezue­lan na­tion­als can do­nate blood to the Blood Bank.

He said, how­ev­er, the blood will be test­ed.

He made the state­ment at yes­ter­day’s World Blood Donor Day sym­po­sium host­ed by the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies Fac­ul­ty of Med­ical Sci­ences, in col­lab­o­ra­tion with North Cen­tral Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ty.

NCRHA brings brighter smiles to Blanchissuese

The North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) has launched a new “Brighter Smiles” Dental Outreach initiative to the Blanchisseuse community as what it says is part of a wider plan to deliver quality healthcare to rural communities.

The NCRHA said the outreach initiative, which started on July 17th 2018, is a collaboration between the North Central Regional Health Authority and the Blanchisseuse Village Council.

NCRHA launches investigation into discovery of blood samples, syringes on roadside

The North-Central Regional Health Authority has launched an investigation into the discovery of blood samples and syringes found at the roadside in Mount Hope.

The NCRHA says it cannot understand how the bio-hazardous material got there.

Lisa Agard to chair NWRHA; Govt also announces directors for SWMCOL, MTS, NCRHA

The Government has announced new directors for the boards of the National Maintenance Training and Security Company Limited (MTS), the North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA), the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) and the Solid Waste Management Company Limited (SWMCOL).

Jackie Lazarus will chair MTS on a board that will include,
