WASA reinstates water-use restrictions for Tobago

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is reintroducing restrictions on the use of water in Tobago, effective midnight Friday September 16th, 2016 and until further notice.

WASA says the use of hosepipes and any similar apparatus for the purpose of among other things, watering private gardens and washing private motor cars, will be prohibited in accordance with the Water and Sewerage Act Chapter 54:40 of the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

Restrictions announced for Savannah North Stand

The National Carnival Commission has announced limitations for the use of the North Stand for Carnival events.

The biggest event that the North Stand sees annually, takes place this Sunday - the Panorama Semi-Finals.

The following is a statement from the NCC:

"The National Carnival Commission of Trinidad and Tobago (NCC) advises of the following access limitations that will be in effect for all Carnival events at the North Stand of the Queen's Park Savannah for Carnival 2016.
