The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is reintroducing restrictions on the use of water in Tobago, effective midnight Friday September 16th, 2016 and until further notice.
WASA says the use of hosepipes and any similar apparatus for the purpose of among other things, watering private gardens and washing private motor cars, will be prohibited in accordance with the Water and Sewerage Act Chapter 54:40 of the Laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Water and Sewerage Authority is lifting its restrictions on the use of water hoses and other apparatus for domestic use.
The restrictions were implemented on Saturday 19th March.
The Authority issued the following statement today.
The National Carnival Commission has announced limitations for the use of the North Stand for Carnival events.
The biggest event that the North Stand sees annually, takes place this Sunday - the Panorama Semi-Finals.
