A 26-year-old man has been shot and killed in San Fernando.
Reports indicate that around 1 am, residents of Roodal Drive, Embacadere heard several loud explosions.
Police were contacted and upon arrival, they proceeded to a house in the area where they discovered the victim lying in a pool of blood.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A motive is yet to be established.
A food vendor has been shot and killed in San Fernando.
The victim has been identified as Larry Chatoor.
The incident occurred along Lady Hailes Avenue in Cross Crossing, popularly known as "The Cross”.
Reports suggest that shortly after placing an order at Chatoor's Burgers, the assailant took out a firearm and shot Chatoor.
The victim was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
A fire at a mall on High Street San Fernando has been contained before spreading to nearby buildings.

The Fire Service was called in and officers were able to prevent the fire from advancing towards other establishments close by.

Bandits entered RT Jewellers on Upper High Street, San Fernando and stole thousands of dollars in jewellery after pushing the security guard to the ground.

Reports indicate that the victim was involved in an altercation with a group of men when he was stabbed in his chest and stomach.
He was rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The San Fernando City Corporation has been allocated over $3 million for a new dog shelter in San Fernando.

Nicolette, was last seen at her Palmiste, San Fernando, home around 9:00am, on Friday 13th October, 2017.
She was reported missing to the Sand Fernando Police Station, around 2:00pm, on Monday 30th October, 2017, by her mother, Nicole Hilaire.
Nicolette is of mixed descent, 5 feet 8 inches tall, slim built and light brown in complexion with shoulder length curly hair.
