An autopsy is expected to be performed today on Aleem Khan and Bryan Felix, who were found dead in Coryal over the weekend.
According to reports, the men went into a forested area at Coryal Village on Saturday, but did not return home.
Police reports indicate that a party of officers from the Cumuto Police Station received information that two bodies were found at Sinverguenza Road, Coryal Village.
One man was arrested and a homemade shotgun and a quantity of ammunition seized, by officers of the St. Mary’s Police Station, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the district, yesterday.
Officers were on mobile patrol along Saunders Trace, St. Mary’s on Wednesday, when they had cause to stop and search a white Nissan B-12 motor vehicle with a lone male occupant.
The search resulted in the firearm and a dozen rounds of 12 gauge cartridges being discovered in the vehicle.
The suspect; a 45-year-old of the district was arrested in connection with the finds.
A shotgun was discovered during an anti-crime exercise in the Enterprise district by officers attached to the Central Division Operations Unit.
The exercise, supervised by Sgt. Matthew Haywood, of the Chaguanas Police Station, took place between 1 am and 5 am on Thursday 19th July, 2018.
While on mobile patrol in the Enterprise district, officers proceeded to Pierre Trace, Lendore Village, where they conducted a search of a bushy area.
The search resulted in officers discovering one shotgun wrapped in clear plastic.
Investigations are continuing.
A shotgun and a quantity of marijuana are discovered by officers of the Moruga Police Station, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the district, yesterday.
The exercise was conducted between 6 pm and 8:10 pm, on Wednesday 20th June, 2018, during which officers proceeded to a camp, approximately five miles into Edward Trace, Moruga.
A search of the camp was conducted approximately 50 feet from the roadway, in the vicinity of a metal water tank, where officers found the shotgun loaded with one 16 gauge cartridge.
A shotgun has been discovered by officers of the Central Division, during a joint anti-crime exercise, in the Couva district.
The exercise, coordinated by Supt. (Ag.) Simon Gill, took place between 2 am and 10 am, on Friday 18th May, 2018.
The exercise included officers of the Couva and Freeport Criminal Investigations Department. Acting on information, officers proceeded to an abandoned shack in a bushy area off Concerned Citizen Street, Couva, where one Conavenca 12-gauge shotgun was recovered.
No arrest was made in connection with the find.
A shotgun and one 16 gauge cartridge were seized by officers of the Valencia Police Post during an anti-crime exercise, in the Valencia district, yesterday.
Officers conducted the exercise around 1 pm on Tuesday 3rd April, 2018, during which, based on information, they proceeded to an abandoned structure at St. Alban’s Road, Valencia, where they found a homemade shotgun loaded with one round of 16 gauge cartridge.
No one was arrested in connection with the find.
Southern Division police officers seized a homemade shotgun and a quantity of marijuana during an anti-crime exercise in Gasparillo last night.

One homemade shotgun and a quantity of marijuana were discovered by officers of the Southern Division during an anti-crime exercise in the Gasparillo district, on Wednesday night.
A 19-year-old gardener of Rio Claro is charged with possession of a homemade shot gun and one 12 gauge cartridge, after being held by police along the roadway near his home.
Alex Medina aka “Alex Khan”, of Legendre Road, Ecclesville, Rio Claro, was charged by officers of the Rio Claro Police Station, on Sunday.
He was also charged with using obscene language and disorderly behavior.
Officers were on patrol around 9:30 pm on Sunday 27th August, 2017, when they saw the suspect standing in the middle of the roadway with an object resembling a shotgun in his hand.
A shotgun and two shotgun cartridges were discovered along a riverbank in Carenage, by officers of the Western Division Task Force, during an anti-crime exercise this week, a statement by police said.
Officers acting on information, proceeded to Sea View Gardens, Carenage, in the Western Division, around 2 pm on Wednesday 14th June, 2017, where they conducted a search of a river bank in the area and found the Mossberg 410 Special shotgun and the .410 gauge cartridges, hidden in some bushes.

A pump action shotgun and a quantity of marijuana were found at a camp in Moruga, by officers of the Moruga Police Station, yesterday, a statement by the police says.
The discovery was made around 9:30 am, on Tuesday 6th June, 2017, by officers on mobile patrol in the district.
The officers, acting on information, went to Shorty Street, Bois Jean Jean, Moruga, where they found the camp in a forested area.
Three male occupants, who were at the camp, immediately fled upon seeing the officers.
