Robert Farrier has resigned as Cycling president

Robert Farrier has resigned as president of the T&T Cycling Federation. In a letter obtained by CNC3 Sports, Farrier said he resigned the post with immediate effect, citing "the level of volunteerism needed to lead, drive and propel the TTCF, and the sport further can no longer be sustained due to my other commitments."

Below is a copy of Farrier's resignation letter.

Suffering Windies cricket and T&T football fans

I have had some wonderful Saturdays but my goodness, Saturday, June 24th was definitely a day to forget.

It started well enough, as I went to the beach in the company of my beautiful granddaughter, who made me do anything she wanted; and before that, I had looked at India struggle against Afghanistan.

Then I saw the West Indies grab the early initiative against the Kiwis in a must-win encounter for the Caribbean side.
