Thou­sands of staff from across Ansa McAl's sub­sidiaries en­joyed two days of fun, com­petit­ing with each oth­er while bond­ing to­geth­er as fam­i­ly.

T&T to host CPL opener and final

The Hero Caribbean Premier T20 tournament will bowl off in Trinidad when the defending champions the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) comes up against the St. Kitts/Nevis Patriots at 6pm on September 4. 

The venue for this match is still to be decided as General Secretary of Queen's Park Cricket Club Colin Murray said that negotiations are still underway as far as hosting the matches at the Mecca of local cricket.

Here's the Trinbago Knight Riders' team for CPL 2019

Dwayne and Darren Bravo, Keiron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Colin Munro and Ali Khan, are all in the Trinbago Knight Riders' (TKR) team for the 2019 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

The list of 17 players was confirmed following today's draft in London.

Dwayne Bravo's retention to the team came as a surprise to many, after he posted on Tuesday that he would not be playing for the TKR this year.

"No TKR for me this season guys sorry but I have "de nuff" of the cussing. I need to enjoy my time now good luck TKR fans," Bravo had said via an Instagram post.

T&T names 40-man list for Concacaf Gold Cup

Trinidad and Tobago has named its provisions 40-player roster for the Concacaf Gold Cup in June.

The roster will serve as the basis for the final 23-player list will be announced by Concacaf the first week of June.

After the official announcement, only injury-related changes will be allowed, up until 24 hours before each team’s first match and any injury replacements must come from the preliminary 40-player roster.

Record 536 players from 20 overseas countries in CPL draft

The final list of players who have made themselves available for the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League has been sent to teams ahead of the draft which will take place in London on 22 May 2019. 

The number of players that have put their names forward for the draft has increased yet again in 2019, as has the number of countries from which the overseas players are from.

T&T beat Turks and Caicos Islands 6-0 in Beach Soccer championship

Goalkeeper Zane Coker and pivot Kevon Woodley scored two goals each in Trinidad and Tobago’s 6-0 win over Turks and Caicos Islands at the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championships in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico Monday afternoon.

Ryan Augustine and Shane Hospedales also netted for team T&T, which up until late last week was in danger of not traveling to the tournament due to unavailability of funding.

T&T will play the USVI next from 1 pm on Tuesday May 14th.

Man City wins the Premier League title, Liverpool second

Manchester City is 2019 English Premier League (EPL) champions! It is the team's second successive title as they beat Brighton 4-1 away from home. While the hosts went ahead in the 27th minute through Glenn Murray, their lead lasted only a minute.

Sergio Aguero hit back in the 28th minute and Man City hardly looked back from there. Ten minutes later, Aymeric Laporte doubled City's lead while the champions would go on to score two more in the second half.
