A 19 year old Tobago woman was airlifted to Trinidad, after she was allegedly set on fire by unknown men, on Tuesday night.
She was found near Kilgwyn Bay, near the Apex Restaurant and Bar.
The victim has been identified as Allena Dial of Riseland Trace, Carnbee, a kitchen assistant employed with the Tristar Restaurant.
According to police reports the incident occurred shortly before 9pm on Tuesday.
This country’s Ambassador to Costa Rica, Tracey Davidson-Celestine, has become the first woman to lead the Tobago's PNM Council.

Tobago police say they are intensifying efforts to discourage criminal activity in Tobago.
They are urging small business owners to be extra vigilant after a spate of armed robberies in various communities across the island this month.
The latest incident occurred yesterday at Plymouth, when two men held up Island Shopperz Supermarket at gunpoint.
According to police reports, the men entered the supermarket at around 3:30 pm and demanded that the proprietor, Shawn Warner, empty the cash register. They then escaped on foot with approximately $2,000.
At least two men are in police custody following a $15,000 robbery at the Coco Reef Resort and Spa, Crown Point, on Monday morning.
According to ACP Tobago Division Vernon Roberts, two men entered the resort's front office at approximately 2:37 am, armed with cutlasses.
He said the men, who wore hoodies and dark-coloured clothing, escaped on foot with the cash.
“We are at this time questioning persons of interest for that robbery and we are also reviewing CCTV footage from the scene," Roberts told Guardian Media.

According to reports, the accident occurred around 2am just before the Buccoo traffic lights.

According to a release issued by the management team for the Trinidad and Tobago Inter-Island Ferry Service (TTIT), the originally scheduled 4:00 pm departure from Tobago will instead be at 5:00 pm.
The TTIT apologises for any inconvenience caused to the public.
