The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) Working Committee today gave its nod to the India cricket team to participate in two T20I matches against the West Indies on August 27th and 28th in the United States.
India are currently playing a four-match Test series against the Caribbean side.
Both the matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, US.
Several West Indies legends including Sir Gary Sobers, Sir Vivian Richards, Wes Hall and Andy Roberts have called upon the WICB to dissolve the board, in line with the CARICOM cricket review panel's recommendation, and appoint an interim committee as part of the structural reforms that would enable the region's cricket to "develop and flourish".

West Indies batting hero Marlon Samuels has been fined following his match-winning performance in Sunday's ICC World T-20 Final.
Samuels who hit an unbeaten 85 to guide the regional team to victory was fined 30 percent of his match fee.
This stemmed from an on the field encounter between the West Indies middle order batsman and England's all rounder Ben Stokes, after the West Indies won the match with Carlos Brathwaite clobbering stokes for four consecutive sixes in the final over.
A new video showing the West Indies team returning to their hotel after defeating India in their T20 World Cup Semi-Final today, has been shared online by cricket.co.au.
The video runs for 2.47 minutes and shows some members of the team dancing to Dwayne Bravo's "Champion" song as they leave the team bus and enter the hotel.
